LOVE

I am a father and a husband. I am 64 going on 34.
So, I hope its ok with everyone that I contribute my “two cents ”

All I have to say is that the two most important women in my life are my wife, Laure
and my daughter Jenna.
I have been fortunate to have met Laure over 34 years, standing in line, waiting for a
taxi at La Guardia airport. Laure is Catholic and I am Jewish. She is from Brooklyn, I am
from Montreal. We got married 30 years ago in New York City. Laure moved to
Montreal. I am very lucky to have met this extraordinary woman. Somehow her sense of
balance and priorities on what matters in life is unique – at least to me. I would not have married anyone else and perhaps if I did not meet Laure – I would never be married.
So, I know it might be old-fashioned to talk about this – but sometimes it does work.
My daughter Jenna is aged 25 and in graduate school at McGill University- studying
occupational therapy. When she graduates, look out! She will do extraordinary things in her field as she truly is an exceptional woman. I always tried to bring her up giving her all the self-confidence needed to pursue whatever she dreamed to do. Jenna is a strong, loving, and vibrant woman of whom I am very proud of. I hope you don’t mind me saying this, but I also am very lucky to have a phenomenal son, Jeremy, aged 27, who is pursuing a career in music. Jeremy also moves and speaks with a¬†great self -confidence, as he should. All this is to say, that at the end of the day, this is the stuff that matters. Believe me, I continue to pursue what I dream to accomplish, as anyone who knows me will tell you. But when I close my eyes at night and smile – all I can think of is Laure, Jenna, and Jeremy. I am ready to face tomorrow…
